2024 Fall Workshop

October 20
-22, 2024

Registration is now open for the DEAC Accreditation Workshop 2024, completely restructured to focus on the revised accreditation standards set to be officially announced on September 1, 2024 and effective on January 1, 2025. This year’s workshop features a streamlined, single-track program design, offering in-depth sessions led by some of DEAC’s most experienced institutional members.

Each session will provide a comprehensive exploration of the revised standards, including detailed discussions on Self-Evaluation Reports (SER) requirements, exhibits, compliance evidence, and much more. This workshop is a must-attend event for institutions preparing for accreditation visits in 2025, as well as for those looking to get a head start on developing compliance strategies for implementation of the revised standards.

Join us to ensure your institution is fully equipped to meet DEAC’s updated accreditation requirements!

DEAC Accreditation Workshop Mentor Program

We encourage all first-time attendees of the DEAC Accreditation Workshop to register for DEAC’s Mentor Program. Through this program, you’ll be paired with an experienced representative from a DEAC-accredited institution who will introduce you to DEAC member institutions, share ideas on best practices in distance education, and help you connect with the DEAC community.

This is an excellent opportunity to get acquainted with DEAC and become actively involved in our vibrant, friendly network. Please contact us to sign up for this program!

Plan your visit to Portland! The American College of Healthcare Sciences invites you to enhance your visit to Portland with a special outing! We are excited to share two optional activities to explore Portland before the DEAC Fall Workshop. Experience a round of golf at Portland’s Heron Lakes Golf Course, featuring two championship courses by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. Learn more here.

Alternatively, explore Portland’s beautiful gardens with a walking tour at the Portland Japanese Garden, which offers accessibility options, or a similar urban garden. Learn more here.

These optional activities will occur on the morning of Sunday, October 20. Please note these activities are not sponsored by DEAC. Please contact Tracey Abell at American College of Healthcare Sciences with questions at traceyabell@achs.edu or 503-381-6331.
